Implementation period: 03.01.2022 – 30.11.2023
As part of the project, an
ONLINE TRILINGUAL HINDI EDUCATION PLATFORM (HINDI-POLISH-ENGLISH)
will be developed and made available to enable the improvement of linguistic professional competences to level A1.
The main objective of the project is to reduce economic and social disparities within the EEA in the area of education.
The intermediate goal is to develop and update the educational offer concerning translators and people professionally involved in working with the Hindi language and wanting to develop communication competences.
About the platform
The platform will consist of 30 Hindi lessons containing materials on cultural, social, ethical and legal aspects related to the professional use of language skills.
In an innovative way, we will combine traditional learning methods, interactive techniques of learning Devanagari script, expanding vocabulary and building communication skills.
The lessons will include dialogues, texts, words, text recordings, exercises and trivia. It will also be possible to check how well the tasks were performed and thus get an additional motivation from the evaluation system.
The material will promote tolerance, multiculturality as well as equality.
Platform Users
The platform will be widely available to all people who want to develop their competence in Hindi.
It is assumed that 50 people will use the platform in the first year.
During the lifetime of the project, it will be made available free of charge and included as a tool supporting the learning process as part of the classes as well as a tool for self-learning.
The participants in the project will be professionally active people, including people pursuing business goals (international organizations and corporations, NGOs, translation agencies, cultural institutions, tourist offices), academic teachers, students who want to learn about Hindi for the purposes of starting work and building a career.
English-speaking people will also have the opportunity to develop Hindi language skills.
The tool will be adapted to WCAG 2.1 standards, thanks to which e.g. visually impaired people will be able to use it.
